Accommodation in Andalucia
Our base in Spain is a recently reformed, comfortable house in Villanueva del Rosario. This pretty mountain town lies in the hills 35 km north of Malaga and has easy access to a vast range of adventurous activities. The house has all modern amenities and has several accommodation options that can cater for groups of 2 - 6 people.

The area around Villanueva del Rosario itself has a lot of climbing with many routes of all grades from 3 to 9b+, with some crags being within walking distance and most of them are only a 5 min drive.
The cave contains the world's hardest route - Chilam Balam 9b+ - is easily seen from the house and can be reached by a 15 minute walk.
Excellent crags such as Archidona, Loja and El Torcal de Antequera are only 15 minutes drive. The popular area of El Chorro and Turon are about 40 km away.
There is also some excellent bouldering, hiking and mountain biking in this area. Beaches are only 40 minutes away and, if you fancy a bit of skiing, the Sierra Nevada is only 1.5 hours away.
The hills behind the village are also ideal for hiking and mountain biking with a yriad of trails that cater for all levels of ability.
