Open Courses in Snowdonia

 

The rock climbing season in the UK is over now until 2012. UK scrambling courses will start in early March and rock climbing courses at the end of March. All the UK courses ill then run through until the end of October

This year has very much seen the demand focussed towards personalised courses for those who are competent climbing inside on walls and now want to fast track into climbing outside. Thus we have run a lot of fast track courses that combine elements of Climbing Outside and Learning to Lead Climb.

Scrambling has continued to very popular throughout the season with experienced walkers looking to learn the skills to stay safe on steeper ground.

The calendar below outlines the open courses we will run in the early partof 2012 - but if you can't see a date that suits you then please contact us and we will try to help.

 

 

Open Courses in Spain

 

Silvia is currently guiding in Spain and is fully booked for most of November, but she has a gap between November 26th until the 30th.

Silvia has reasonable availability in December from the 13th to the 20th.

January 2012 is busy apart from the 3rd to the 9th.

February 2012 is busy until the 13th - there is good availability after that

This summer and autumn has been the busiest ever and Silvia has taken on two addtional instructors to help - another female instructor also call Silvia and Ales.

Guided trips along the Camino del Rey and on the new Via Ferrata routes have proved very popular this year.

There is a list of possible Open Courses below. This year we have made the longest course 4 days long as we have found that this is the best length for an effective, comprehensive course - it allows us to pass across a lot of information whilst you stay fresh enough to take it in effectively.

Longer courses can easily be arranged for those who feel that they will benefit from extra days tuition - plus it is fairly straight forward to build rest days into the course timetable if needed; there is lots to see and do in the area!
